A .44 RIMFIRE SIX-SHOT SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'NEW MODEL RUSSIAN', no visible serial number,
circa 1874 and converted to rimfire from .44 Russian (possibly a Turkish Contract?), with 6 1/2in. barrel, raised rib with maker's details and patents to 1869, locking catch to top-strap, break-open frame with auto-ejecting fluted cylinder, stamped with a cyrillic mark and '1874' to the grip knuckle smooth walnut grips and spurred trigger-guard, serial numbers deliberately erased.
